Wow. Our little dude turned 8 months yesterday. My mind can't even wrap around that one. It seemed like yesterday were ooo-ing and aww-ing over everything. Not that we don't now. But it's over different things. Now Judah has hit big milestones. Eating actually solid foods (I'll never understand why the mush is called solid food) and scooting (we're getting really close to a full crawl!) are the big two. He's holding his hands above his head to show that he is "SO big!". He's using his index finger and thumb to grab things. He's getting to be such a little boy, instead of a baby boy.
The Lord has grown our child so much. My prayers have grown for him, that the Lord would already be taking hold of his heart and that God would strengthen us and grant Joe and I wisdom as we seek to train him up. While teaching him letters, colors, and numbers is very important, teaching him God's word and precepts, leading him to understand the gospel is more important. With out truth, there is no life. So as Judah grows physically, we work and pray that he grows spiritually.
Praise God for our little boy!
