I figured it might be good to start off with why I chose the web address that I did...
Often in church or in family worship when we sing Psalm 16, I come to verse 6 and have to stop. "The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places, indeed I have a beautiful inheritance" (Psalm 16:6 ESV). When singing or reading that, I can't help but think of it in two ways. First, the beautiful inheritance I have already received- my husband, Joe, and my son, Judah. God has truly blessed me with a loving leader who truly cares for and about our little family, and with a beautiful covenant son who we love so much... Secondly, the inheritance that is promised- because of Christ, we are children of God and will have eternal life. What a glorious promised inheritance!
So as we go along in this given time, I am joyful about the time given in this current inheritance, and even more so for the one to come...
