I can't believe our little man turned 3 months on Sunday. It's going by so fast. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I started a journal, writing all about the pregnancy and our little guy. Something to give to him when he goes off to college. Recently I started putting in stuff about his first 3 months of life, and what its been like for Joe and I. Reading back, I can't believe at the end of next month it'll already be a year since we found out!
One thing I've loved about being a stay at home mom is the time. When Judah naps, I get the apartment picked up, do dishes, think about dinner... Even this morning, I was able to have a cup of decaf coffee (who knew milk + vanilla extract tasted the same as French vanilla creamer?) and watched the Early Show AND a Stephen Colbert Report (I almost watched Regis and Kelly... but they don't seem to like each other). Now that I'm up to date on the nation, I can get up to date on things needing to get done around the place...
Our little guy is getting so big. Praise God for his good health and his curiosity. The past few days I think he discovered his tongue. He loves to stick it out, lick his lips, etc. And he especially loves when you do it back at him. He's been such a little encourager for letting me work-out and take walks in this heat. Wednesday, he slept through my yoga class only to wake up happy at the end and did stretches with me. Better yet, we took a walk to the chiropractor! He's such a blessing... I love watching him grow and find out new things- the sound of his voice, how to grab things, messing with his tongue. I'm enamored...
