You've been schooled...

So... I realize that Judah is only 3 months old. But when it's back to school time, I love all the products that come out. From freshly sharpened #2 pencils to spiral notebooks whose wires haven't yet spiraled their way out of the paper, its like a fresh start to the year. Even though I graduate in 2008, it has taken me a while NOT to think in semesters. I was admittedly a little sad to leave school. While I was happy to learn what marriage was like without homework involved, I missed classes and learning new things.

Praise God for giving us a child. I'm realizing, as things like "BrainQuest" and workbooks reappear, that Judah will get to go to school in the future! As our little guy gets bigger, why wait? I'm not saying overwhelm him with flashcards and such, but why not use the tools that are out there to get him as excited about learning as I am?

One AWESOME resource I discovered yesterday is this book: Homeschool Your Child for Free
It is a large book of all the free resources out there for parents who wish to teach their children (whether their children are homeschool, private schooled, public schooled, etc.). And it's huge! I knew that as our little man grew that we would teach him various things, but I didn't realize how many resources are out there for making it fun for him and us! Woot woot!

Now to figure out what language to start him off with...
